Penneys, Sligo Town, Co Sligo

This contract involved the re-fit of a Penneys store in the centre of Sligo town with a huge volume of pedestrians present around the work zone as the store had to remain open for business at all times,. Work involved the installation of new 300mm storm line at a depth of 1.4m – 1.9m from rear of building to main drainage line at front of building to stop prior flooding (which entailed bringing a pipeline through an alley and out through an existing building connecting pipe into main storm line in the town). The contract also included a bulk dig for new carpark, installation of attenuation tank, aco channels, gully pots and manholes, preparation of car park and alleyway for tarmacadam.
